Texas Tower, UT. I heard it adds up to 10 towers all by itself. I heard.

Tailwagger

Josh Thompson and I put this route up last fall, and it is really good! A must do if you can get your hands on a boat for the approach.

Moses. For the next 9 months or so it will be extremely remote.

Even though it is a very manufactured route. Still a classic.
Otto's Route
Independence Tower - Grand Junction Co.

Castleton Tower - Moab Utah
Desert fun. I swear that the tower was moving in the strong winds up there.
That was an awesome summit.

Sam, that road is a big part of the economy down there. I would have guessed the BLM would have had it fixed in a heartbeat because of full on pressure from the Moab and Green River COC's. Good news for Taylor Canyon for sure. It gets a little recovery time!

i think it will be a while before the road (to moses) is repaired. the damage looks pretty colossal (as in $$$$$$). i don't think the amount of money it produces is in the same magnitude as how much it will cost to repair, coupled with the tight budget they are dealing with.

i think that this year i will try to do more towers. the last few years i have mostly been cragging, and haven't done as many towers. here's a first crack at a wish-list

predator tower (down near paradox)
chip and dale towers (canyonlands)
lightbulb (swell)
standing rock (canyonlands)
that new sidewinder route (fishers)
hindu (onion creek)
longbow chimney (parriot mesa)
moses via the rim (canyonlands)
sentinel spire (col nat monument)

1. Phantom Sprint - Fun cruiser line up a big Fisher Tower.
2. Tailwagger - Good climbing on Wingate. You need a boat to approach.
3. Honeymoon Chimney - Hardest 5.9 pitch i've ever been on, followed by the neatest 5.7 chimney pitch ever.
4. Chip Tower - Great route on really good rock. Neat area.
5. Dreamspeaker - Gorgeous tower. Arch and Texas Canyons I think are the prettiest place in the desert.
6. Cenotaph Spire - Most of the climbing on this one isn't very good, but the thin splitter on the last pitch is great and the area is beautiful and empty.
7. Worth the View Spire - The climbing isn't very good on this one, but it is a fun adventure in a beautiful area.
8. Sarah's Spire - Weird cutler spike way out in the middle of nowhere. Probably hasn't seen a second ascent.
9. A Walk on the Swasey Side - Really fun climbing, and very atypical for the desert. It would be a classic if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere.
10. Phantom Spire - Way the hell out in the middle of nowhere. Fun climbing, but being in that remote area is the best part.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
