What to climb?

I am going to be back in California for about three weeks in December before I head out to Costa Rica to go live in treehouses and surf a bit.
I would love to get as much climbing in as possible, seeing how Costa isn't really known for its rock.
Most of my Cali climbing experience is limited to bouldering in Bishop or J-Tree and I am looking for some fun trad and/or sport routes (5.6-5.10) that wouldn't be too cold for that time of year.

I was looking into Owens River Gorge? Anything good there?
Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Katy

The Owens River Gorge is terrific for sport and has a handful of worthy trad lines. I can personally speak to the sport routes, I've never climbed any trad there but the Gorge is one of my all time favorite places to climb. The weather will be cold at night but excellent climbing temps during the day. It is a winding, deep gash in the earth so if one wall is in the shade, go around a corner or across the river and you'll find sun. The hot springs around are worth the trip alone. Enjoy!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
