Bouldering behind the trees on The West Block at W...

This block holds the best bouldering at Weem. Nothing is too steep but most of the problems are fingering and technical, and if you do the traverses you can get a fairly good workout on the small block.

A few of the problems suffer from seepage but even in mid winter the best problems are usually climbable.

Getting There

When the access path turns sharply left take the faint trail up to the right and follow it for 100 yards.

Climbing Season

For the Highland Outcrops area.
