Description Suggest change

Start just to the left of Watanobe Wall below an obvious, slightly right-leaning crack/corner. A cruxy, slightly awkward start gives way to easy climbing along a crack/groove to the horizontals at the top of Watanobe Wall. Belay here (1-3" cams; this anchor can be used to TR Watanobe Wall), traverse straight left about 25 feet to a point where you can walk off, or continue up to reach the fixed anchor at the top of the formation (same as for Tennis Shoe Crack).

Descend by:

1)traversing off left about 25 feet from the gear anchor mentioned above

2) scrambling down on the climbers left or take the easy way off by reversing the approach to Tennis Shoe Crack.

Location Suggest change

This is the obvious crack just to the left Watanobe Wall.

Protection Suggest change

Carry a standard rack up to a grey Camalot.

Gear anchor in horizontals (purple, red and gold Camalots and a cordalette allows for a TR of Watanobe Wall) or continue to the top of the formation and use the fixed anchor atop Tennis Shoe Crack.
