The start of Vulture Culture

Description

Climb up the wavy, huecoed rock to a stance below a roof. Pull the roof and continue on fun plates on easier terrain to the top of the cliff. There is no anchor, but there is a pretty good tree. The descent is a pain. Either walk the cliff to find a station for rappelling or rap from the tree to the second ledge down. Then rap to the ground. (Surely there is a better way).

Location

This route is to the south of the Great Roof.

Protection

Standard rack.

Worthwhile climb, top has the best veiw in the Obed, in my opinion. Could be quite challenging if you're under 5'7"...

FUN! I wasn't planning on topping out the 5.6 terrain, so I built an anchor at ~100' around a chickenhead + constricting crack (red/blue new cordalette and yellow/brown old rope). MAR '17. Please inspect or replace.
