Visiting Colorado September 1-6. Looking for lead climbing partners?

Hi!

I'm a new lead climber looking to try out some routes while I visit Colorado solo. I feel like it would be a shame to miss out on the climbing while I'm there. I don't have much to offer for skills... I have very little experience with outdoor climbing, anchors, multi-pitch climbing, or trad climbing. I can definitely belay for sport lead! I understand this is probably a big request. I'm hoping that someone would be generous enough to show a beginner around. If not, would anyone know a company that I could possibly hire a lead climbing partner with? If it helps, I can lead up to a 5.10d indoors. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks!

Hi Melanie!

I live in Eagle, CO and would be happy to show you around the western slope. I spend most of my time in Rifle, but there are some moderate crags in the area I've been meaning to explore which I'm sure you'd be stoked on. I lead mid-12s and have been climbing for about 5 years.

Let me know if you're still looking for a partner when you get to the area!

Where in Colorado are you going to be? Where are you interested in climbing?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
