Victuran, as seen from the parking lot.

Description

A stone quarry located south of the city right next to a little town called Vintjan. It's unbelievable how clean cut the rock is. It leaves almost nothing for the holding onto, which is why some walls now have holds glued on. The locals have really poured some love into this place and established some pretty impressive routes which are extremely technical. If that's not your thing, area D has easy routes and area A has more natural looking rock.
It's possible to climb here year-round since the walls face in all different directions and you can find shade or sun as is desired.

Getting There

Pula has a half-circle traveling around it. If you're coming from outside of Pula, then once you hit this half ring, continue traveling on it southward until the exit for Medulin or Premantura comes. Take this exit from the roundabout and then your next right towards Vintjan. After about 1.5km you'll come to the village on your right. Continue left and just around the corner you'll be able to see the quarry. Park in the parking lot on the side of the road next to the ruins in front of the quarry. The GPS coordinates are given for this parking lot.

This is the longest and easiest route on this wall and transitions between two routes. For that reason, it's not as well-protected as the two routes which it links. Start on the 2nd bolt line from the left, or one left from where you can read "Rabelj z meco" on the wall. Climb up 3 bolts and head up and right past a bolt between the bolt lines to the final bolt of "Rabelj z meco" and up to its anchor....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
