Description
An interesting route up the center of the North Buttress.Strenuous.Start on the rightward leaning tree covered gangway,above a large holly. P1)Scramble up the gangway,climb a short corner and step right to a yew tree.40'P2)Step off a block into a corner on the left and climb it to the large slab of the Girdle Traverse. Move left for 15'to a block belay.45' 5.7.P3) Go up right across the slab to the left end of a long overhang. Mantelshelf onto a ledge on the wall . Climb some small corners trending to the left (piton pro)to the final roof. Pull over this moving right to a small ledge.Climb up left for about 6' then up the wall above to a small ledge on the left. 80'5.10c (5c) P4) Climb the rib on the right and the groove above to a hanging block. Over this and follow easy slabs to the top. 100'
