Pulling through the crux

Open, with restrictions: Park on the street MORE INFO >>>

Vertical Vee climbs a prominent dihedral in the center of Slab City. The crux is pulling over the roof on slopey pin scars with terrible feet between the third and fourth bolts. After the fifth bolt the route moves one crack to the right of the start crack.

This route is a very obvious dihederal going over a roof down low in the center of slab city.

7 bolts to a two bolt anchor, be careful clipping the last bolt as a fall here would land you on the ankle breaking ledge below.

Great route for aid solo practice if you're good at setting unconventional ground anchors. Goes clean so even if it hadn't gone free, there'd be NO need to nail or head. Hand placed beaks are good as are hooks and camhooks.
