Bolts Are Failing! - Donations Help MORE INFO >>>

This route is the natural continuation of Arupa which takes you to the top of the north face of the Grand Auditorium. It can definitely go entirely on traditional gear.

From Boot Flake, head straight up the wide crack, placing gear to protect runouts between bolts (or skipping them entirely). When you reach a small roof with a ledge on the left, stay right and continue up the face to a bigger ledge above. Lots of loose stuff here! Continue up the sharp, stemmy, thin hands crack to an awkward finish through flakes onto a spacious ledge. Build a gear anchor here to supplement old bolts.

Walk-off highly recommended. There is one short 5.5 section to downclimb.

Straight up from Boot Flake

Dangerous bolts (2005)
Trad gear recommended (to 3")
