Climber at the Rock Dog campground needs assistance.
As I was turning into the campground My vehicle shut down.
The dash light shows oil heat light.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Just looking around the net I can't find a Oil Heat Light.. maybe engine overheat light?

Check radiator when cool for proper levels, check oil level again too.

Do you smell exhaust from the vents in the car or see/smell exhaust in the coolant? If you do this would indicate head gasket failure.

Maybe could be fuel pump? Does the engine restart after it's cooled back down?

Does it turn over? Battery still have plenty of juice? Could also be alternator if wont turn over.

If it's a little oil lamp that's oil pressure. Could be low oil, pump failure. How on earth would you get the wrong size filtr? If it looks like a thermometer with waves under that's a coolant overtemp. Could be coolant pump, low coolant. Check in the radiator when it's cooled down for signs of oil or contamination, check that oil isn't milky. These would indicate a head gasket failure. Is there coolant in the radiator. Is it blowing coolant out of the overflow reservoir might be a bad radiator cap if the cap won't hold pressure it will boil over and loose fluid and overheat. If it's cooled down remove the radiator cap and start it. See if coolant is flowing through radiator to check pump function

It was just a battery wire, fixed it in 2 minutes.
Thanks.
