This wall is in shade for the winter months, but during other seasons gets afternoon sun. Most routes on this wall are moderate, 5.6-9+.

Getting There

As you hike in from the parking area this is the first major wall you come to. There is a large right-facing corner (Vallory's Book) in the middle of the face. Walk down the wash to a tree and there's an obvious user trail up the hill.

Last Sunday I (apparently) absentmindedly left a bunch of gear at the bottom of the first climb right (North) of the wash; I had set an anchor for demonstration purposes and, well, I guess I left it there. The gear includes:
1 #4 Camalot
1 #2 Camalot
1 Red Alien
1 gigi
1 new (black coated) Magnatron
1 small BD locking biner
1 44 inch runner

If you found this gear please email me at I would be willing to pay a finders fee.
