Secluded and in the shade until 1-2pm.

Getting There 

This part of the cliff is an 8 minute hike up the trail from the parking pullout/main area. Some scrambling involved to get to the base.

Shorty starts on a gentle overhang with big holds. Surmount the bulge by the second bolt and get lost in the sweet slab moves as they gradually get more difficult. Referred to as Upper Crag in the Rockfax guidebook.

All routes to the climber's left of Chimninea had very rusty bolts. In this bay, to the right, the only lines with clean bolts and hangers were Lanky and Shorty.

The next bay over in this area has a couple of more difficult routes with fresher bolts, but the majority of lines here too are in bad shape.
