Description

Sit start on good holds in rail. Move up to slopey crimps on mini bulge. Go to lip.

Location

On the powers boulder just right of the tree on the uphill side, same start as the V0 traverse but you go straight up instead.

This problem is given a v5 in 2 previous guides. It is definitely harder if you are on the short side, but I felt it was in the v4 range. Unsure if it originally topped out directly up, but the logical finish is to traverse right slightly and then top out. A direct finish seems beyond a v5.

I think the 'direct finish' is the v5 line, and in fact I found it to be soft at that grade. [Beta] There's a distant edge you can throw for with the left hand when you lock off at the lip with your right.

Pressing out the delicate mantle on slopers nearly straight up was the crux and also highlight of this climb. Finishing the climb this way didn't feel soft for V5. Apparently there are easier ways to finish though.
