Decent gear the whole way up.

Starts up the obvious crack behind a tree right of toto too. Pretty fun. Decent gear. You have to use the anchors to the left or right. Best part about this climb is you can lean back on the tree to place gear or send a text message. If you were planning on going to the troll wall, but now you're feeling lazy, you can use your gear here.

One day we were heading to troll wall but hung out at Munchkinland too long, and it was my daughter's nap time. Someone said here's a gear route. I climbed it. I don't know anything else about it. I also suck at grading climbs and give too many stars to everything that goes generally up.

Obvious crack behind little tree.

Standard rack.

Kristina and I had almost the same experience you described! It's an ascetic crack system that calls to you. Kinda like how did they miss this. As you said it protects very well. Kristina and I both put it down as an 8 in our log. Just don't blow it into the tree! Would probably be climbed more if it had anchors (which we were once considering adding but will not be).

Worthwhile, although the tree is a bit annoying, which knocks off a star for me. Good gear, but I thought it was more like 5.9 if you don't use the tree. I merged with the 9+ sport route to the left and found that there were still good gear placements all the way to the chains.

Note that this isn't listed in SQLIII.

You probably meant aesthetic? Maybe not...

concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.
