Ucluelet lies on the northern edge of the Barkley Sound. This wonderfully scenic town resides on a narrow peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and the bay.
Although Ucluelet is not a destination for rock climbing it does offer some entertaining bouldering.
Take Hwy 4 from Parksville. The drive is roughly 60 miles and passes through Port Alberni.
