A small cliff with a couple of routes on frictiony rock.

Getting There

Head past Sandy Ego, following the base of a small cliff downhill. When the cliff ends you will see the top of the Aretes. Head slightly uphill toward this.

Climbing Season

For the Poway Crags area.

A sport bolted arete that leads to a wild roof. Traverse in from the left, bypassing the first bolt (it's for the hard direct start). Head up the rough rock of the arete. When higher up, pull out right to a ledge where the last bolt is clipped. Pull the roof on its left side. Instant exposure on this move. Finish up and right to the rap anchor....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
