  • Description

This is a small crag with about 2 routes & a bouldering area on it. It lies just to the W of the Bowling Alley. This was added due to a request/suggestion to subdivide this area.

    A. The Strip Mine - various bouldering problems.
    B. Heart of Darkness, 13, 1p, bolts.
    C. Neuromuscular Toxin, 12, 1p, 30', bolts.

    Getting There

Park as for Practice Rock in the pullout. Hike up and R towards the Bowling Alley. At its base, move L toward an obvious old mine shaft.

Climb the steep roof/overhang just left of the mineshaft. Lots of bolts at the start due to shaky rock and a big ledge. The rock cleans up quickly for the lip crux. Very bouldery....[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
