BETA PHOTO: Tubular Balls (5.10b), Joshua Tree NP

The climb consists of finger and hand jamming in a crack with a loose flake. Because of the loose flake, any protection that you place is not very reliable.

An obvious crack on the north side of the Comic Book formation.

Bring some cams, but don't trust them very much.

Does anyone (Randy?) know if the name of this route is a take off on Tubular Bells?
