Climb the broken cracky area. The easiest route in the Lower Ledges.


About a third of the way from the right side of the crag. A broken, cracky section of rock leading to a tree.


Standard rack. Walk off. Trees on top suitable for TR anchors.

Labeled "5.3" on my 'overview' photo. Probably one of the best "first time ever beginner" climbs in the CT-NY area!

Possibly the only rock climbing short cut on the appalachian trail (southbound only). finish the route and scramble left and up to rejoin the AT.
