Was the "trick" the obvious fist size section of the high flake feature that was obviously loose?

A fun route with great movement. One small problem - the third bolt is positioned so that the rope end biner of the draw lays right on a foothold.

For me the trick was convincing myself that I wasn't going to pry off the big blob of rock at the top right into my face!
