Start out matched on a left-facing sloper, then move straight up near a tree growing against the rock. This has big hands, long reaches, small feet, and unique moves. I think people will like it if anybody decides to try it. I would say it is V4, but I want a second opinion. I am also claiming the FA, but Bob Horan or Luke Childers may have already snagged this one years ago.

An easier variation starts standing with left hand on the sloper and right on the crimp/edge. This takes away two of the best moves, though.

This problem is clearly visible from the road, about halfway between the parking lots. Park at the first parking lot, and take the ponderosa trail heading west. This boulder is right by a switchback in the trail, and the tree growing against the rock is its identifying feature.

One pad should be fine.

The crux is two moves. Very soft for V4, IMO. More comparable to other V2s in the area. If you are walking by this boulder to get to other problems in the area, it's worth a quick go.

Brett, maybe you found some better beta than me, which wouldn't be surprising. I'll downgrade it if somebody else agrees.
