This striking tower rises high up on the east side of Hamm Canyon. The left-facing corner is visible from the south but is in the shade much of the day.

Getting There

Hike up Hamm Canyon for a mile or less, past a 50' broken cliff band. We were close to the Hamm Boulder, on the west, before we cut up the steep hill to the east. There is not much of a trail, but it is straightforward. The approach time was about 30 minutes. Descend the same way, watch out for the broken cliff band in the wash on your decent.

Climb into perfect hands to a pod, pull a roof and wrestle the steep, cupped hand crack to a two bolt anchor.Pitch 2. 60-70', 5.11. Continue up the corner through another bl...[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
