BETA PHOTO: View of Toe Jam Boulder from the trail.

Toe Jam Boulder is a relatively obscure block considering it is right off the main trail between Joe 97 and Millennium Falcon (and slightly up the hill).

The rock quality is pretty good, but the topout could use some attention or someone brave climbing it. The quality on the main face is beautiful orange, which is slightly different for this particular area.

Getting There

If you come in through the north trail, move up the rock steps trail, and the boulder will be on the right hand side. Reference the map for more info. I hope it's as accurate as I think it is, but if not, let me know, and I will fix it.

Spring Loaded V3-4 6A+  Colorado : Grand Junction Area : ... : Toe Jam Boulder

With right hand in the hole and left on sidepull, jug thing, JUMP for the awesome positive lip! Be careful hanging on with one arm - it got me an elbow hyperextension out of the deal. :)...[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
