J5 starting To Live is to Die

Seasonal Raptor Closure MORE INFO >>>

An incredibly fun route toward the top of the Southeast Face, this climb works through a fun traversing section down low and then reaches amazing jugs and tufa-like features which bring you to the crux moves on some thinner crimps before finishing on jugs. Super fun and worthwhile.

Up the hill on the Southeast Face. Just right of King of Pain.

I did this route today, and I thought it was great. Well bolted (not your typical Smith bolting) and very fun. For the last 20-25 feet, it's almost like climbing a tufa! The scree slope sucks, but makes for a quick and exciting downhill journey.
