Description

Shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. This area is high up on the ridge line which makes it feel secluded. It is a wonderful place to climb.

Getting There

Turn right (south) on the Blue trail after the bridge. The trail quickly turns East. Follow the blue trail until it takes a 90 degree turn towards the South. At this point hike directly East (towards the cliff) until you cross the Blue trail again. Continue hiking towards the cliff and bushwhack up the talus until you reach the Tibbs area. It is near the top of the hill/cliff, and the area opens up towards you as you are hiking towards it.

Climbing Season

For the CT Bouldering area.

They Call Me Mr. Tibbs V1 5 PG13  CT : CT Bouldering : ... : Tibbs area
Starts on a large jug as far right as you can go without falling off of the platform that forms the lading. Climbs up and left to a scary top out. It climbs like a crack climb with foot and hand jams making it much easier and more secure. Top out before traversing all the way left (safer and easier)....[more]   Browse More Classics in CT
