Description

This is the striking, smooth, south-facing slab on the looker's left-side of Moon Rock. The Three Dame Crack area has longer, moderate, multi-pitch lines as well as a few single-pitch routes. Primarily mixed climbing exists here with a fully bolted, as well as fully traditional line. A sunny wall with a minimal approach. Come packed for an adventure.

Depending on your choices, a full rack will be handy as well as a 70 meter rope and a large selection of draws and slings. Most all of the routes are done via rappel, and most lines, but not all require a 70 meter rope or two rope rappels. See individual route descriptions for more details.

Getting There

Follow the main approach to White Rocks, veer looker's left once you hit the main formation. Drive about 200 feet until a large pull-out surfaces. Park here and complete a short walk to the base.

This is a fun route up a water streak on the south side of Moon Rock. Lots of features, pockets and a generally low angle keep this on the easier side for the majority of the route.P1 - Watch for two damaged (shot) bolts on the left near the top of pitch one. Pull a bulge protected by another shot bolt that can be backed up by a cam. Belay off of the single bomber bolt above that. The bolt can be backed up with protection.P2 - Motor up the streak and veer right when it splits. Clip two more bolt...[more]   Browse More Classics in Utah
