The striking dihedral of "Viking".

Description

This is a beautiful right facing dihedral that faces east so sees shade in the afternoon.

Climb the amazing hand crack up to where it tapers down to tips. At this point, reach high left and clip a bolt to get to the anchors.

Location

A bit east (downstream) of the Capulin Tower, almost to the end of the wall.

Bolted chain anchor.

This route is further east of Capulin Tower all by its lonesome self. So keep on hiking past Capulin Tower to find it and give it some love.

Definitely give this one love. One of the better routes that I've done at Capulin. (IMO) cool stemming features

If someone retrieves my green camalot, I would be grateful. Tried to climb this in September with Will Canning and he had to bail after 30 feet due to some wasps threatening to kick his ass. So my green cam is still up there.

let me know

thanks

Aaron, as of this weekend it's still there (you can see it in this photo from Saturday) We had hoped to climb it and get it for you but ran out of time.

Thanks Jason. Will finally went and got it. Sorry folks, the booty has been retrieved.
