The Upper Slabs and Cracks offer some fun climbing at a moderate grade. The climbs can be seen on the upper right hand side of the slabs and left of the Pinnacle Block. A large offwidth crack reminiscent of the Finger of Fate on Cannon can be seen above.

Getting There

From the left edge of the Pinnacle Block scramble up a large ramp in a corner for 10-15' to a ledge. From here smash around until below the cracks. The slab lines will be to the left.

Alternately, go to the top of the slabs and rap in (1 rope), down to a ledge. (To get to the top follow the path to Golden Wall and stay left where that path turns to the right in the 'open area', 50-60 ft above where you climb over the old, large blown-down trees.)

Climbing Season
