Physical for the Black Cliffs

Seasonal Raptor Closures.

Description

Fun climbing that starts out easy in a small vertical open book with a crack and ample holds. At the top of the open book move right and get ready for the business! Ascend the overhanging corner/finger-crack above to the anchors.

Location

Open book a few feet right of the flying circus.

Protection

6 bolts + a 2 bolt anchor.

This is another route that originally went on gear and was subsequently retro-bolted. Lots of opportunity for good gear in the initial open book, with some potential for more creative placements up higher...

Crux bulge is very well protected. Kinda sucks to toprope though. Great exposure and one of my favorite climbs at the cliffs!
