The Thirsty Dogs area

The Thirsty Dogs area lays off by itself at the base of a prominent point 1.5 miles down the road from the Roadsides. It has some superb blocks and is worth the short hike. Remember that this is a No Off road Travel Zone, so you must walk in from the road.

Getting There

Just past the Wiregrass Canyon trailhead, at a major bend in the road, park off the side of the road south of the prominent buttress and take the path of least resistance to the boulders that lay at the base. The hike is less than 10 minutes.

The crack turns to tips and a shallow pocket with a lot of foot switching beta will allow you to continue progressing upward. A technical topout finishes this fantastic boulder problem....[more]   Browse More Classics in Utah
