The Streambed Boulders are a collection of four boulders that practically sit in the stream. Imagine that. The two closest to the Illmob Boulder are called the Kissing Cousins, while the stream actually runs beneath the other two. Most of the problems here have been left out of the guidebook, but nearly all of them are worthwhile. Classics include EZ Cheese, the Riverbed, and Seinfeld, but for something more difficult, give Provia a try.

Getting There

Locate the babbling brook and follow it upstream. Ok, so that’s probably not the best approach. From the Zoo, look across the stream and you’ll see the Streambed Boulders. From the Illmob, look towards the Zoo. These boulders are sitting between the Zoo, the Illmob Boulder and the Yosemite Boulder.

Due North V2 5+  New Hampshire : *Pawtuckaway : ... : The Streambed Boulders
Start standing in the center of the tall slab, with the left hand on a gaston crimp and the right wherever. Head straight up the slab utilizing a shallow dish/pocket and good footwork to reach the juggy rail below the lip. Follow the rail up and left, topping out at the apex of the boulder.I'm sure this climb has been done before. I feel like's it a purer and better option than 'North Slab', which is located to the left. And while it may be taller, the landing zone is much better. This is a great area mainly for beginners and visitors or a mixture of both I guess. Most people only think of it as the home of E-Z Cheese, but it houses so much more than that. Due North, Seinfield, The Riverbed, and Provia would go down as area classics in my book. There are also a countless amount of good v0's and v1's like Fritz's Demise and King Arthur.
