About The Sport Wall:

This area is to extreme climber's left, where you will find a concentration of sport routes, most are hard requiring a decent amount of strength to conquer. Here the routes are steep and technical. Coming from the Meadows area the routes start with Pickled Rope and end with the Bongeater crack.

Getting There

Take Route M from Ashland or Route N from Pierpont to the River Road, the Wilton bluff line is just north where the River road meets Clubhouse Road. 10 Minute hike on the Katy Trail to the extreme left is The Sport Wall.

After mantle crux fun move to get to the undercling and clip. Then juggy overhanging fun to the anchors! Well bolted and anchors are bomber. To the left of the anchors is an awesome ledge to sit on and take in the river basin. Some say this is the best 5.9 in Central Missouri....[more]   Browse More Classics in Missouri
