This is a small pinnacle located near the Echo Beach campsites along the north shore at Saguaro Lake. It is a nice easy introduction to the the rock at Saguaro Lake. Hike around to the back of the fin (where the climb to the top is shortest) and attain the summit via an easy 5th class pitch of maybe 30ft. From there you can TR any of the other sides of the fin that you choose with routes of varying difficulty and rock quality. This is a great place to take beginners to get acquainted with top-roping and rappelling. Be warned: you will certainly attract attention from passing boaters.

Top Rope. There is a bolt at the top that someone drilled into a somewhat dubious and hollow-sounding block about the size of a microwave oven. Back it up!!
