The Sail is a freestanding formation visible from the road shortly after The Mish. It houses routes from 5.8 - 5.12.

Getting There 

Park and hike as for the Upper Echelon and then continue through the narrow saddle on the right side of the wall. The sail will be visible and a faint trail can be followed to the formation.

Climbing Season

For the Triple Tier Area area.

Climb up a sharp arete to a very steep crack, arete, and shallow corner before pulling around to the left and up the face. The crux comes leaving the steep section where one has to find a way to fight the barn door and find the good crimps to get some great jugs. The top still has lots of lichen.
