  • Description

A very fun, well bolted and clean route with a varied set of moves. The final moves to the anchors has a memorable finish.

More or less in the middle of the climbing wall, you can identify this route by it climbing right on/beside a sharp arete in the middle of the route and the visible anchors from the ground.

10 bolts. 2 bolt anchor with chains.

There is now another route in between this route and Mossy Tits on the right. The new route is not in the Alan Watts Smith book. It looks hard, but we did not climb it. From the ground we could only count 9 bolts on The Safe Zone, but there was another one hidden up there.

There was a lot of lose / hollow-to-the-tap rock on this route, including big pieces a few feet wide. I don't know if it's actually dangerous -- I don't have enough experience -- but I tread lightly and had a great time.
