Does anyone know the location of the route "Spanish Bombs" at Pilot Mountain in North Carolina? Erica Lineberry's guide book "Carolina Rocks" makes mention of the route as a landmark for finding the start of another route. I can't actually seem to find any other mention of the route "Spanish Bombs" anywhere on Mountain Project or in the old Kelly guide book on Pilot Mountain. Does anyone know anything about this route?

Maybe ask the Western Carolina Climbing Association Facebook group:

There is actually a mention of it on here, near identical to the Lineberry guide. I am pretty sure the book took its description from MP:

Roughly 100 feet right of this is an arete, the right side of which contains "Look Before You Leak", and I assume Spanish Bombs is the left side. But that also might be "Bloodmobile", which is another climb I have not located in that area of Pilot.

If you have been there recently, or have internet access at Pilot, matching pictures with some of these routes from Lloyd's old site may help
