Looking down from the top of Welfare Daze


The flat topped highpoint above the Squamish Buttress is the southern peak of the Chief. This area has several easy/moderate sport routs and a nice 5.7 crack.

Getting There 

From the Grand Wall parking lot take the often crowded Backside Trail to the top of the Chief. Make sure to identify the castle ahead of tiem and it will make navigation easier.
