Description

The Quest is one of the finest splitter cracks in all of Li Ming - five-star for sure.

From belay move up and right to access the ledge 4 meters up. Traverse left across the ledge to the crack and place a #3 in the horizontal at your feet. The splitter begins as a knifeblade crack and opens up to sustained tight hands.

Location

Left of where the approach trail hits the wall. The trail runs just under this pitch but it isn't super apparent because of the angle. Watch for it.

Protection

.1, double .2-.75 and three to five #1s. One #3. Small stoppers. Offset finger-sized cam (green/yellow alien) is great to have. A tight #2 might go in towards the top.

Amazing route! While the start may be a little heady (try to get some gear in before the tenuous face moves, might be close to decking without), its totally worth it and so much fun! Get on it!
