Description

Tall overhanging face covered with bowling-ball like cobbles and pockets on one side, a 6 foot tall overhang on the other side. The rock has the look of dirt, but usually turns out to be cement-hard.

Getting There

This is one of the furthest boulders to the right of the main group. From the HUB, walk downhill then skiers left past the 11 boulder. Traverse across the slope passing several large blocks. The pyramidal overhang should come into view.

The new start may make it into the v6 range, but with the majority of moves being the same I've decided not to change it.Starts low crimping left on a shallow dish and right in either a sharp pocket or a sloping one, your choice. Go right to a pointy cobble, and left up to a very sharp pocket (Crux). Use a right hand crimp to move up left to an awesome pinch, top-out....[more]   Browse More Classics in Arizona
