Description

This is a cool, big boulder that is shaped like a plow. It has perfect rock.

There is also a smaller boulder next to this one a few easy warm ups on it.

Getting There

This one is out there. Walk to Haskell Pond, and then head left all the way around the pond. When a group of rocks blocks your way, head left again trending uphill slightly, and keep your eyes peeled.

Water Technique V5 6C  Massachusetts : Cape Ann : ... : The Plow
This climbs the slopey wave-like arete on the backside from a full sit. It has a hard pull up, then it is delicate and technical. Key crimps ease the grade. This problem is very cool and unique on beautiful rock. The stand goes at V3....[more]   Browse More Classics in Massachusetts

Real shame that this boulder isn't closer to the road as the routes on it are excellent and the climbing pretty unique. Great rock quality too.
