The Pinwheel offers a moderate opportunity to sample the smooth polished basalt of Fossil Falls. pull up on overlapping smooth tile-like holds. Once on the shelf climb up and right to a steep headwall. Continue up the headwall on polished incuts to a mantle over the top.

Third climb on the right from the precipice. Just right of the right facing corner.

I led this climb a while back on small gear. Essentially, this turns the first half of the climb into a boulder problem and the second half protected fairly well by a nest of small cams. It probably deserves an "R" rating if climbed that way.
