The Outpost is a new area accessible from the Chek parking lot. It is slightly off the beaten path, and offers superb sport climbing with stunning views of the Tantalus Range. All routes are well bolted, and are easily worth the hike in.

CAUTION: Consider these climbs mountaineering routes. Always wear a Helmet. There is still rockfall potential.

Getting There

he approach is about an hour on foot or 50 minutes on a bike. A bike cuts the return trip time by half.

To get there follow the Conroy FSR for about 2km north past The Forgotten Wall and The Crest. Turn left onto a single-track trail and follow it for another 2km. Look for flagging and cairns to help navigate you to the base of the wall.
