  • Description

Striking, overhanging face on a west-facing boulder, just under one of the powerline towers. Home to the best and hardest routes at Conejo Mountain.

The three routes on this formation are (from left to right): Junk Bonds (5.12d), The Outcast (5.12a), and Cowgirl Paradise (5.11c).

All three routes are topped with open shuts. It is possible to access the top anchors by scrambling up a narrow gully/crack on the right side of the face (class 3-4).

    Getting There

From MST, continue down the service road for about 20 minutes.

Area iS totally wrecked, the last fire totally engulfed the entire formation. Most of the glue enforced holds have broken off and not to mention the bolts are spinning and very unsafe. Be carful if you decide to lead any of the routes as they will be much much harder than what they should be. Still a fun wall to rappel off of..
