hitting the sloper

Description

Fun climbing, but a bit of an eliminate. Start on the pedestal below the boulder. Climb the arete feature. Do not use the holds to the right.

This has been climbed as an off-width by some masochistic individuals.

REMEMBER:
-If it has rained in the past 24 hours, do not climb at Eldon.
-Wipe your shoes off before you climb.
-Leave no trace. Erase tick marks. Pack out any trash, yours or others'.

Location

Smack dab in the middle of the River Boulder.

Protection

2-3 pads.

This problem is really cool but as Randy says, it's sort of an eliminate. Regardless, the dynamic nature of the first few moves are prime. I felt like this was on the harder end of a 6... I'm longer so it wasn't as bad getting through the start, but sort of awkward gaining the nose. Great problem.
