Description

This area has afternoon shade, is secluded, and is made of granite. It does not seem to be climbed on regularly, so it is pretty dirty and mossy. Most everything you pull on will hold, although the occasional hold will blow.

As we were used to climbing at Parachute, this rock gave us a nice option to set up hammocks and have a cruiser day bouldering. Many climbs in this area that we encountered were at least 20 feet, and we considered them highball problems.

I am not aware of anyone who has climbed these routes before, and there is no evidence of anyone having established routes here. If anyone has any knowledge of previous climbs here, please let me know, and I will amend the page.

Getting There

There are two ways to access the crag. Either walk from Parachute Rock directly west for about ten min up the hill, or after you head east on route 327 take your first left and head north until you find an obvious turn off and start hiking up the hill and follow it to the crag.
