The Minimalist is located on the southwest overhang of the Zero Boulder. As the name suggests, the very minimal starting hand and foot holds make this a powerful and steep encounter.

Pull off the ground via the poor V shaped hold at chest height and a faint dimple down low for a left foot. Slap the sloping (but surprisingly good) lip and fight the swing to grab an incut crimp out right. Establish here and continue out right to good holds and an airy mantle.


The Zero Boulder can be found halfway up the steep hillside, passing the Twilight Zone and Skeleton Key on your way. It is the last block identified in the new Joe's guide.

Found this problem while climbing at the Zero Boulder and trying Ten Ten. From all accounts (the SLC locals I was climbing with), no one had ever seen or noticed the line on the south west overhang. Wasn't able to do it then, but I came back, cleaned and sent! I *think* I snagged the FA, but if that's not the case ... let me know. FA video below:
