Description

The Main Cliff left starts on the left most section of wall where the original route is located, and continues to the Escape gully. This was the first wall to be developed in this area. The First development was by Tom Anderson with the original route, then years later with Eric Fox and Ashley Currie on Four-Twenty. The rock quality on this side is pretty good; primarily slab climbing with a few vertical sections makes for fun sport climbing.

Getting There

This is the left side of the main cliffs. And the first one you will get to from the approach trail.

Follow the bolted line straight up through some balance moves to a large horizontal crack. Once in the horizontal clip the bolt just above then work up and right towards the next bolt. This Route has some rough looking rock up and left of the horizontal, I removed all the loose rock I could, but try not to haul on it. Some use it for their left hand while clipping the anchor. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in International
