Description
This beautiful rock offers very committing vetical to slightly overhanging south facing routes. There is a last great unclimbed route on this rock to the left of "Crystal Nightmares".
Getting There
The best approach I have found to reach the actual "Way too High Boulders" is to walk south from where you park following a faint trail down the valley that curves to the south west around the south side of "Turtle Dome". Eventually you end up headed about straight west in a flat area southwest of "Turtle Dome". Just before a ridge of rocks wander north into the woods and there are five large boulders (up to 30' tall) hidden in the trees. "The Kern Boulder" is located just north west of "The Tea Kettle".
