Great rock and routes

Getting There

Take main trail by outhouse up Archangel Road to creek boulder crossing. After crossing head up slope passing Toto, Diamond, Green Gully, Catch the Wave, etc. on your right. Stay to left of big, lighter colored talus path strewn from upper Toto. Generally, avoid the lighter colored talus; it's loose. Try to stick on the most beaten path to the upper Webfoot prospect. You will pass through mining equipment. The Guardian is past most of this, slightly uphill on your right side. It's a hard hour-ish hike.

Follow the corner-crack to the first roof, pull it to the right, pass the anchor at the roof (unless continuing on second pitch) follow the crack up a...[more]   Browse More Classics in Alaska
